The Baby Therapy Centre in Pretoria, South Africa, is an Early Intervention service, which helps all babies and toddlers with developmental delays or special needs.  The families of these babies are also provided with emotional support. We provide Physio-, Occupational- and Speech-language Therapy within a transdisciplinary- and interdisciplinary approach within the frameworks of the Bobath/Neuro-developmental Therapy approach and Sensory Integration approach.

13% of all babies have mild to severe disabilities, arising from injuries during pregnancy, at birth, illnesses or genetic conditions.  Providing early treatment and stimulation increases the baby’s chances for maximum development.  With this earliest treatment, secondary disabilities and fixed abnormalities are prevented in babies who have special needs.
